The
NHL Draft
The NHL held its
2008 annual amateur entry draft on June 24th. The Anaheim Ducks
chose former Minnesota “Elite Classic” standout Jake Gardiner
of Minnetonka with their selection in the first round. In all,
nine Minnesotans were chosen this year. Seven of those selected
are former “Elite
Classic“ players. Below is a round by round breakdown of the players
